Deephollow is a fantasy noir roleplaying game set in the vast undercontinent of Aedraxis at the end of a dire conflict which left the surface world in ruin. Aedraxis - though beautiful - is known for peril and those from above, below, and deeper must steel themselves, and act together against the wonder and strife herein.

Folk in the Hollow come in as many shapes as the Breeze and so Deephollow’s character creator allows you to mold such a denizen so that no two players might resemble one another. Decide the magic borne within your character and with it how they surmount the challenges of the Hollow using a fully custom Spell crafting system.

The Magic Wheel - or simply - ‘The Wheel’ describes the spectrum of the various forms of magic and their relationships with one another. Depicted below, the Wheel can be seen to juxtapose each of the six magics as allies or as adversaries. The discretion of the Cunning abhors the boldness of the Dire. The discord of the Weird opposes the order of the Runic. And the honor of the Hallowed see naught but selfishness in the dissent of the Profane.

As some of these magics find enemies in one another they also find allies. For the Hallowed may cherish the harmony of the Runic as well as the candor of the Dire. So too may the Dire relish the power of the Hallowed and the Weird alike. The Cunning see kindred spirits in their fellow Profane and Runic rebels of society. Aside from mere emotional weight however, these magics oppose and support one another on an elemental level as well. When combining essential allies they tend to strengthen one another, while adversarial unions may become truly volatile.
